Responsibilities
- Design knitwear pieces using specific software and identify the most suitable machines for the type of yarn and knitting techniques.
- Create programs for the production of the first garment using Shima Seiki software, in collaboration with the knitwear specialist.
- Develop size grading programs for production purposes.
- Resolve programming issues to prevent setup problems in knitting machines.
Qualifications
- At least 7 years of experience in knitwear programming.
- In-depth knowledge of Shima Seiki machine programming software.
- Excellent understanding of yarns.
- Ability to quickly and accurately study and interpret designs.
- Effective in organizing and planning work.
- Ability to work towards goals and within tight deadlines.
- Proactive and initiative-taking.
- Flexibility and availability.
- Teamwork predisposition.
- Fluent in Italian.
