Gucci Press Coordinator Intern

- Organize and oversee press shootings and special projects across all categories, ensuring seamless coordination with the press and efficient showroom management.
- Track editorial calendars and product press coverage to contribute to the development of press strategies.
- Monitor French press activations and international influencer activities, sharing insights globally and internally with the subsidiary.
- Support press and celebrity projects in collaboration with senior management.
- Participate in special projects in France and host various guests at the showroom, including talent meetings.
- Assist in organizing local events and regional trips.
- Manage press requests in coordination with press officers, including preparation, management, and return of requests, shipments, and shopping.
- Organize and maintain tracking tools such as shopping lists, press and influencer listings, and showroom fittings.
- Create samples for new collections on FGPS.
- Monitor daily press clippings with dedicated tools and support from interns.
- Maintain archives of all publications on the network and DMR platform.
- Compile weekly and monthly press reviews for international press team distribution.
- Manage showroom logistics and oversee domestic and international shipments, including proforma creation and courier coordination.
- Identify new French influencer profiles and support influencer logistics and event organization.
- Conduct competitor benchmarking and manage garment pressing and alterations with the seamstress.
- Bachelor's degree in Communication, Public Relations, or related field (Bac +3) from institutions such as CELSA, IFP, or EFAP.
- Previous experience in a press department, preferably through an internship.
- Proficiency in English.
- Experience in shopping coordination is essential.
- Strong understanding of press dynamics and luxury fashion market nuances.
- Ability to work proactively and with foresight.
- Exceptional organizational skills with a keen sense of prioritization and deadline adherence.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, diplomacy, and confidentiality awareness.
- Awareness of trends in the beauty industry.
A minimum of one prior experience in a press department, ideally as an intern, is required.
Bachelor's degree in Communication, Public Relations, or related field.
