- Adapt and implement the worldwide buying strategy at the regional level, considering market specificities and priorities.
- Collaborate on special projects during buying campaigns, including capsules, holidays, and other initiatives.
- Perform in-season analysis to optimize assortments by store.
- Monitor and revise carryover product assortments to maximize potential by store.
- Coordinate with regional functions on launches, store openings, renovations, and events.
- Define stock distribution rules for new and carryover styles with Inventory Planning.
- Monitor in-season cancellations and collaborate with Inventory Planning and Supply Chain.
- Partner with merchandising team members to develop cohesive merchandise assortments and buying plans.
- Monitor category business to identify and maximize business opportunities.
- Initiate strategies to optimize stock and boost sales based on sales and sell-through analysis.
- Review competitor activity and pricing to optimize product positioning.
- Collect and share qualitative business insights with corporate merchandising counterparts.
- Analyze stock levels and delivery status to identify growth opportunities in collaboration with Inventory Planning.
- Conduct regular store visits to highlight product information and buying strategies to store teams.
- Participate in product knowledge training with store teams.
- Collaborate with visual merchandising and retail to optimize space allocation and product presentation.
- Evaluate sales potential by event and store to inform open-to-buy opportunities.
- Provide strategic input for visual merchandising to impact business positively.
- Collaborate on cross-category projects to ensure effective product presentation strategies.
- Share performance feedback and visual product priorities with visual merchandising.
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion, Business, Finance, or related discipline preferred.
- Minimum of 4-5 years of relevant buying experience in a fashion or luxury environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Flexibility to travel domestically and internationally, approximately 30% to 40% of the year.
- Ability to work a demanding schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range is $110,000 to $120,000.
