Gucci Merchandising Manager - Jewelry, Watches, Sunglasses and Beauty

- Adapt and implement the worldwide buying strategy at the regional level, considering market specificities and priorities.
- Collaborate on special projects across categories during buying campaigns, including capsules, holidays, and other initiatives.
- Perform in-season analysis to optimize assortments by store and ensure carryover product assortments are maximized.
- Coordinate with regional functions on launches, new store openings, renovations, and events.
- Define stock distribution rules for new and carryover styles in collaboration with Inventory Planning.
- Monitor in-season cancellations and collaborate with Inventory Planning and Supply Chain.
- Partner with other merchandising team members for cohesive merchandise assortment and buying plans.
- Monitor sales and sell-through to optimize stock and boost sales, while analyzing competitor activity and pricing.
- Conduct regular store visits to Gucci and competitor locations to inform product strategies.
- Collaborate with visual merchandising to enhance product presentation and address tactical opportunities.
- Conduct sales plan reviews with regional and worldwide planning teams to inform open-to-buy opportunities.
- Provide strategic input for visual merchandising setups to impact business positively.
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion, Business, Finance, or related discipline desired.
- Minimum of 4-5 years of relevant buying experience in fashion and/or luxury environments.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Flexibility to travel domestically and internationally approximately 30% to 40% of the year.
- Ability to work a demanding schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Strategic thinking and analytical skills.
- Strong collaboration and cross-functional coordination abilities.
- Proficiency in market analysis and competitive positioning.
- Effective communication and presentation skills.

A minimum of 4-5 years of relevant buying experience in the fashion and luxury industry is required.
Bachelor’s degree in Fashion, Business, Finance, or related discipline desired.
A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range is $110,000 to $120,000.
