- Design knitwear pieces using specialized software and identify the most suitable machines for the type of yarn and knitting techniques (e.g., stitches, jacquard, intarsia).
- Develop programs for the creation of the first garment by interfacing with the designated knitter using Shima Seiki software.
- Create size grading programs essential for the production phase of garments.
- Resolve programming issues to prevent setup problems in knitting machines.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in knitwear programming.
- In-depth knowledge of Shima Seiki machine programming software.
- Excellent understanding of yarns.
- Speed and precision in studying and interpreting designs.
- Effective organizational and planning skills.
- Ability to work towards goals within tight deadlines.

A minimum of three years of experience in knitwear programming is required.
