Gucci Director of Visual Merchandising

- Lead and mentor the regional Visual Merchandising team to ensure brand-right executions across all boutiques and shop-in-shops.
- Serve as a liaison between retail operations, corporate visual, and regional leadership to align on seasonal strategies and localized execution opportunities.
- Oversee regional travel and schedule, ensuring efficient resource allocation and cost optimization.
- Ensure consistency and commercial impact across all stores, adapting global directives to local market opportunities.
- Oversee window installations, in-store displays, and event merchandising to ensure creative excellence.
- Collaborate with corporate VM and Global teams to provide regional insights and share best practices.
- Coach and develop the regional VM team to uphold brand standards and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on product launches and campaign activations.
- Maintain knowledge of industry trends and competitor activity to inform strategy.
- Minimum 8–10 years of experience in Visual Merchandising, preferably within luxury retail or fashion.
- Proven multi-store management experience.
- Demonstrated leadership in developing high-performing teams.
- Strong business acumen with budget management skills.
- Exceptional communication skills for engaging with global stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to balance creative execution and commercial objectives.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, technical, photography, and visual presentation tools.
- Ability to perform effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Flexibility to travel extensively and work non-traditional hours.
A minimum of 8–10 years in Visual Merchandising, with a focus on luxury retail or fashion.
A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range is $135K - $150K.
