Groupe Les Échos-Le Parisien Event Production and Coordination Intern
Radio Classique, a distinguished French radio station founded in 1982, specializes in classical music and cultural news. It offers a diverse programming mix of major repertoire works, musical news, and insightful commentary. As part of the Groupe Les Echos Le Parisien, Radio Classique aims to make classical music accessible to all through expert hosts and educational programming.
- Prepare logistical arrangements for partner events such as the Festival de Pâques d’Aix-en-Provence, Rencontres Musicales d’Evian, Festival de Verbier, Festival Berlioz, and Musique et Vin au Clos Vougeot.
- Organize travel and accommodation for concert recording teams, including booking transportation and accommodations and drafting itineraries.
- Oversee production follow-up for Radio Classique concerts, including the Franck Ferrand series at Salle Gaveau and the Folle soirée de l’opéra at Théâtre des Champs-Elysées.
- Scout venues, create event schedules, prepare logistics and rehearsals, welcome artists, and manage event-day logistics.
- Collaborate with artists, agents, and the artistic director to manage administrative tasks and draft contracts for Radio Classique cruises.
- Update and manage the agenda and schedule for concerts and events on the station's calendar.
- Translate musician interviews from English to French for studio recording and broadcast in the 'Journal du Classique.'
- Higher education degree, minimum Bac+3.
- Excellent writing skills and strong general knowledge.
- Profound knowledge and interest in classical music and its ecosystem.
- Proficiency in common office software (MS Office).
- High proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Strong organizational and logistical planning skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Experience in classical music concert production and logistics or in event management is appreciated. Administrative management experience, including contract drafting, is also valued.
Bachelor's degree or higher.
