Groupe Les Échos-Le Parisien Acquisition and Production Intern
Groupe Les Echos Le Parisien, a prominent entity in the media sector, encompasses Mezzo and medici.tv, both leaders in the dissemination of classical music and jazz. Mezzo is a television channel dedicated to these musical genres, offering a rich selection of concerts, operas, ballets, and documentaries. Meanwhile, medici.tv serves as a video-on-demand streaming platform, providing a diverse catalog of concerts, documentaries, and masterclasses accessible globally.
- Select and acquire audiovisual programs for the VOD offering in classical music and jazz.
- Draft, negotiate, and oversee broadcasting rights contracts.
- Monitor rights renewals.
- Maintain relationships with producers and content suppliers.
- Manage the VOD acquisition budget.
- Conduct various analyses and reporting (e.g., Sacem, CNC).
- Participate in the contractual follow-up of productions.
- Assist in organizing and implementing audiovisual productions in France and internationally.
- Coordinate between departments for the delivery and promotion of programs.
- Prepare budgetary reports.
- Collaborate with the medici.tv programming team.
- Conduct market research on classical music and jazz.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in cultural management, intellectual property law, musicology, audiovisual production, or equivalent.
- Interest in classical music and/or jazz with a strong knowledge of one or both genres being advantageous.
- Strong organizational skills, autonomy, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Drive.
- Excellent spoken and written English.
- Basic knowledge of Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Premiere) and technical skills in audiovisual production are a plus.
- Availability for occasional evening and weekend work, including travel within France and abroad.
Beginner level experience is acceptable.
Bachelor's degree or higher in relevant fields.
