Responsibilities
- Coordinate quality-related activities directly with manufacturers, suppliers, development, production, and customer service teams.
- Verify raw materials and components for collections and production according to Givenchy's specifications and international regulations.
- Analyze materials before production using technical sheets.
- Maintain ongoing communication with manufacturers regarding quality testing launches.
- Initiate and monitor all tests on materials and components, including laboratory (mechanical and chemical) and pressing tests.
- Validate composition and care labels for all Ready-to-Wear product categories.
- Ensure product compliance before showroom sales.
- Act as the primary contact for local teams in China to maintain strong partnerships and meet market requirements.
- Manage the dispatch of swatches to China to ensure GB standards compliance and support feedback on test results.
- Monitor manufacturer and supplier mapping (Tier 1 and 2).
- Oversee social and environmental audits for all Tier 1 and 2 manufacturers according to LVMH group criteria.
- Manage audit reports and update the internal LVMH platform (tracking non-conformities and associated action plans).
- Ensure regulatory documents from manufacturers and suppliers are up to date (code of conduct, commitment letters, moral letters).
- Assist with LVMH group's environmental LIFE projects in collaboration with the environmental department.
- Manage the budget and validate invoices related to the department's activities.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of successful experience in a similar role.
- Engineering background in textiles.
Skills
- Technical knowledge of various materials: fabrics, knits, jersey, denim, leather.
- Understanding of current textile regulations.
- Proficiency in PLM systems.
- Fluency in English; Italian is an advantage.
- Versatility, rigor, and organizational skills.
- Sewing knowledge is beneficial.
Experience Requirements
Minimum 5 years of successful experience in a similar role.
Education Requirements
Engineering background in textiles.
