1. Research and select textiles in alignment with stylistic briefs and fabric collection plans through supplier meetings, trade shows, and showrooms.
2. Organize textile samples by typology for presentation to the artistic direction.
3. Prepare seasonal color ranges.
4. Initiate, monitor, and validate lab dips, woven trials, and collection swatches.
5. Maintain and organize the fabric library daily.
6. Assist in reporting prices, minimums, and lead times on selected samples.
7. Support meeting preparations by creating boards with fabric cards and updating information regularly.

1. Advanced degree in textile engineering, fashion school, business school, or equivalent university education with a strong material sensitivity.
2. Proven experience in fabric sourcing and development for VIC/VIP collections.

1. Fluency in English is essential.
2. Proficiency in Italian is advantageous.
3. Technical knowledge of materials and a strong supplier network.
4. Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
5. Experience with PLM systems is a plus.
6. Dynamic, organized, and proactive with excellent interpersonal skills for engaging with both external suppliers and internal teams.

Minimum 5 years

Advanced degree in textile engineering, fashion school, business school, or equivalent university education.
