Givenchy Material and Production Buyer

1. Manage the procurement of components and packaging, including linings, zippers, buttons, and trimmings.
2. Serve as the primary contact with suppliers.
3. Order production needs, negotiating minimum order quantities, prices, lead times, and sustainability requirements.
4. Complete tracking spreadsheets and monitor shipments.
5. Verify and approve invoices and re-invoicing.
6. Update the ERP system (PLM).
7. Check and validate the compliance of production samples before shipment.
8. Address production issues such as quality problems and supplier/manufacturer disputes.
9. Transmit necessary documents and samples for quality testing.
10. Oversee the production of uniforms.
11. Act as the liaison between the production purchasing department and the warehouse.
12. Monitor shipments and receipts of raw materials (fabrics and components).
13. Dispatch raw materials for pre-production samples.
14. Request re-invoicing if necessary.
15. Analyze activity and create procedures, including surplus material buybacks at season's end and delivery time analysis based on material type.

1. Degree from a business or engineering school or equivalent.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.

4. Organizational skills, curiosity, and enthusiasm.
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel; SAP and CENTRIC knowledge is a plus.
6. Fluent in English (oral and written); Italian is a plus.

Minimum of 5 years in a similar position.
