Givenchy Director of Women's Ready-to-Wear Product Development

- Oversee the execution of the company's strategic vision as communicated by the Industrial and Development Direction.
- Lead the launch of prototypes and samples in collaboration with workshops and manufacturers across all product categories.
- Conduct fittings with the Design Direction and communicate outcomes to relevant teams.
- Ensure comprehensive preparation of technical dossiers, including materials, metal parts, and measurements, through to industrialization.
- Anticipate and resolve product-related issues throughout development phases, from creation to finalization.
- Collaborate with production teams to maintain high standards of creativity and quality from prototype to store delivery.
- Monitor material order planning with the dedicated service and studio.
- Define retro-planning with Merchandising and Design teams to meet collection delivery deadlines.
- Ensure adherence to timelines and budgets, raising alerts when necessary.
- Maintain updated PLM, BOM, pricing, and traceability data, including CSR topics.
- Guarantee product category margin objectives.
- Identify and propose process improvement opportunities, implementing approved actions.
- Support organizational change and transformation phases.
- Develop team competencies and manage succession planning.
- Guide teams in understanding industry challenges, competitor offerings, and market trends.
- Advanced degree in a relevant field
- Minimum of 15 years of successful experience in a similar role
- Strong product sensitivity with a passion for luxury and fashion
- Proficiency in Tailoring and Flou categories
- Fluent in Italian
- Mastery of common and industry-specific software, particularly PLM Centrix
A minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role within the luxury fashion industry is required.
Advanced degree in a relevant field
