Givenchy Collection Purchasing Manager

- Assist the Sourcing/Development Manager in fabric selection, availability requests, and verification of prices, minimums, lead times, and certifications.
- Oversee the purchasing and supply chain of fabrics for prototypes and samples, ensuring adherence to budget and collection timelines.
- Negotiate prices, minimums, and lead times, proposing substitutes when necessary to optimize purchasing conditions.
- Organize material dispatches according to factory requirements for model launches.
- Monitor order invoicing and development services via ESKER/order table.
- Participate in fabric assignments (Fabric to Sketch).
- Manage collection stock and inventory of carry-over materials.
- Lead fabric extraction from PLM for pre-purchase meetings.
- Create material codes and update PLM with weight, composition, price, minimums, lead times, technical sheets, and customs codes.
- Centralize fabric traceability information to comply with AGEC law and LVMH LIFE 360° program.
- Collect technical fabric specifications and coordinate potential material risk tests with the quality manager.
- Advanced degree in textile engineering, fashion school, business school, or equivalent university education with strong material knowledge.
- Minimum of 5 years of significant and successful experience in fabric purchasing.
- Dynamic and organized with strong proposal skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for interaction with external and internal stakeholders.
- Managerial qualities for supervising an intern.
- Fluent in English; Italian is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, PLM, and SAP for fabric stock management.
A minimum of 5 years of significant and successful experience in fabric purchasing is required.
Advanced degree in textile engineering, fashion school, business school, or equivalent university education.
