Givenchy Assistant Merchandising Manager

- Lead seasonal buying sessions across all categories, ensuring alignment with Headquarters (HQ) and delivering the final buy, including reviews and revisions.
- Represent market and business needs to HQ, ensuring communication aligns with market requirements to maximize sell-through while adhering to seasonal buying guidelines.
- Oversee merchandise planning to optimize Open-to-Buy (OTB) and manage stock allocation effectively.
- Support demand planning strategy for the region, optimizing inventory planning to drive business objectives.
- Develop accurate sales plans to forecast replenishment product needs.
- Collaborate with business planning and controlling manager to align OTB resources with business performance.
- Partner with retail teams to monitor collection performance throughout the season.
- Provide retail teams with tools and information to enhance sales performance.
- Support visual merchandising strategy for the region, collaborating closely with HQ teams.
- Generate reports and conduct business analysis to offer visibility on category performance.
- Conduct competitor analysis on pricing, products, and market trends.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience, preferably in merchandising within the luxury retail sector.
- Proven business acumen with strong negotiating skills.
- Customer focus with the ability to build rapport and relationships.
- Self-motivated with a sense of initiative and urgency.
- Strong analytical ability with proven problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail with good product sensibility.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in merchandising, with a strong background in luxury retail being advantageous.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
