Givenchy Assistant Merchandising Manager

- Lead seasonal buying sessions across all categories, ensuring alignment with Headquarters (HQ) and delivering the final buy, including reviews and revisions.
- Represent market and business needs to HQ, ensuring clear communication to maximize sell-through while adhering to seasonal buying guidelines.
- Oversee merchandise planning to optimize Open-to-Buy (OTB) and manage stock allocation effectively.
- Support regional demand planning strategy, optimizing inventory planning to achieve business objectives.
- Develop accurate sales plans to forecast replenishment product needs.
- Collaborate with business planning and controlling manager to align resources with business needs and performance.
- Partner with retail teams to monitor collection performance throughout the season.
- Provide retail teams with tools and information to enhance sales performance.
- Support visual merchandising strategy for the region, collaborating closely with HQ teams.
- Generate reports and conduct business analysis to provide visibility on category performance.
- Conduct competitor analysis on pricing and products.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience, with a strong background in merchandising; luxury retail experience is an advantage
- Proven business acumen with strong negotiating skills
- Customer focus with the ability to build rapport and relationships
- Self-motivated with a sense of initiative and urgency
- Good analytical ability with proven problem-solving skills
- Highly rigorous with an eye for detail and good product sensibility
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English
Minimum of 5 years of experience in merchandising, preferably within the luxury retail sector.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field
