- Plan and coordinate inbound and outbound logistics flows to support production, including raw materials, semi-finished goods, and finished products.
- Coordinate warehouse operations, handling, storage, and distribution activities to align with production plans and revenue targets.
- Optimize stock levels and logistics processes using continuous improvement methodologies, such as lean logistics.
- Oversee the management of hazardous materials, ensuring compliance with safety, transportation, and storage regulations.
- Manage import/export customs clearance activities, liaising with freight forwarders, customs authorities, and regulatory bodies.
- Negotiate and manage contractual relationships with carriers, logistics providers, and customs brokers, while monitoring related costs.
- Monitor and propose new logistics KPIs, including service levels, lead times, transportation costs, and inventory turnover.
- Utilize and enhance logistics information systems, particularly ERP (AX Dynamics) and WMS.
- Collaborate with Sales, Procurement, Quality, Production, and Supply Chain teams to ensure efficiency and operational continuity.
- Lead, coordinate, and develop the logistics team as well as external logistics partners.
- Degree in Industrial Engineering, Economics, Logistics, or related fields.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics roles within the manufacturing sector.
- Proven experience in effective team management and people coordination.
- Strong knowledge of industrial supply chain processes.
- Experience in managing hazardous materials and related regulations.
- Experience in handling customs clearance processes and international trade.
- Excellent data analysis skills and KPI management.
- Proficiency in ERP/WMS (AX Dynamics) systems and IT tools.
- Excellent command of the English language and strong proficiency in Excel.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, including priority management and resilience under pressure.
A minimum of 5 years in logistics roles within the manufacturing sector, with proven experience in team management and coordination.
Degree in Industrial Engineering, Economics, Logistics, or related fields.
