- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and logistics, to ensure procurement activities align with business objectives.
- Assist in managing stock levels and ensure timely delivery of materials to support production schedules.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, contracts, and supplier performance.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to achieve cost savings and ensure quality standards.
- Prepare and present reports on procurement performance, cost savings, and supplier metrics.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies for direct materials and services.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop contingency plans to mitigate supply chain disruptions.
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers and conduct supplier audits.
- Monitor market trends and conditions to identify opportunities for cost reduction and supply chain improvements.
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management (internships or contingent work considered).
- Basic negotiation and contract management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Interest in digital technologies.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Fluent in Italian and English, both written and spoken.
1-2 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, including internships or contingent work.
Bachelor's degree in Economics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
