Galeries Lafayette Supply Chain Intern
The Watch and Jewelry Division of the Galeries Lafayette Group stands as the preeminent French leader in the distribution of timepieces and jewelry through its renowned brands: Galeries Lafayette, Louis Pion, and Galeries Lafayette-Royal Quartz. This division serves as the purchasing hub for jewelry and watch sectors across the 57 Galeries Lafayette department stores in France and Luxembourg. Operating multi-brand watch spaces in 40 stores, Louis Pion offers an extensive selection of watches and jewelry, while Galeries Lafayette-Royal Quartz provides access to over 50 prestigious brands. The division also manages monobrand boutiques for luxury names such as Cartier, Rolex, and Omega, ensuring a diverse and premium shopping experience.
- Update, analyze, and communicate weekly and monthly activity and stock reports.
- Participate in supplier purchasing sessions, providing collection reports and aiding in future collection purchase planning.
- Identify top products and quantify restocks for stores and brands, considering seasonal and permanent items within brand-specific budgets.
- Monitor the performance of various commercial operations.
- Engage in ancillary projects such as returns, transfers, destocking, and the implementation of automatic restocking.
- Currently enrolled in a business school or university at Bac +4 or Bac +5 level.
- Seeking a 6-month internship starting July 2025.
- Proficiency in Excel and data analysis.
- Strong teamwork and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Action-oriented with attention to detail and curiosity.
No prior professional experience required, though familiarity with supply chain or logistics in a retail environment is advantageous.
Pursuing a degree in Business or a related field.
Fixed monthly stipend: €1200 for Bac +4, €1400 for Bac +5.
