Galeries Lafayette Supply Chain Assistant Intern
The Horlogerie Bijouterie Division of the Galeries Lafayette Group stands as the preeminent French distributor of watches and jewelry through its esteemed brands: Galeries Lafayette, Louis Pion, and Galeries Lafayette-Royal Quartz. Serving as the purchasing hub for jewelry and watch sectors across 57 department stores in France and Luxembourg, the division also manages multi-brand watch spaces in 40 of these locations. Louis Pion, with 70 retail outlets and an e-commerce platform, offers an extensive selection of watches and jewelry from over 60 brands, including its own collections. Galeries Lafayette-Royal Quartz provides exclusive access to over 50 prestigious watch and jewelry brands through its network of 12 boutiques and an online store. The division also operates mono-brand boutiques for Cartier, Rolex, Omega, Messika, Tudor, and Hermès in department stores and airports. The Horlogerie Bijouterie Division aims to captivate enthusiasts and connoisseurs of watches and jewelry alike.
- Update and analyze key performance indicators and communicate weekly and monthly activity and stock reports.
- Participate in purchasing sessions with suppliers, providing collection assessments and contributing to the construction of future collection purchase credits.
- Identify best-selling products and quantify restocks for stores and brands, considering seasonal and permanent lines while adhering to specific brand purchase budgets.
- Monitor the performance of various commercial operations.
- Engage in ancillary projects such as returns, transfers, destocking, and the implementation of automatic restocking.
- Currently enrolled in a business school or university at a Bac +4 or Bac +5 level.
- Seeking a six-month internship starting in July 2025.
- Proficiency in Excel and a strong aptitude for numerical data analysis.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and work on cross-functional projects.
- Action-oriented with a keen sense of curiosity and attention to detail.
No prior professional experience required, but a strong interest in supply chain and logistics within the luxury retail sector is preferred.
Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.
A monthly stipend of €1,200 for Bac +4 students and €1,400 for Bac +5 students.
