Galeries Lafayette Store Manager
The Watch and Jewelry Division of the Galeries Lafayette Group stands as the preeminent French leader in the distribution of timepieces and fine jewelry through its esteemed brands: Galeries Lafayette, Louis Pion, and Galeries Lafayette-Royal Quartz. Serving as the purchasing hub for jewelry and watch sectors across 57 department stores in France and Luxembourg, the division also manages multi-brand watch spaces in 40 of these locations. Louis Pion, with 70 retail outlets across France and an e-commerce platform, offers an extensive selection of over 60 brands, ranging from accessible to premium, alongside its own collections. Galeries Lafayette-Royal Quartz provides exclusive access to over 50 prestigious watch and jewelry brands through its 12 boutiques and online presence. The division also operates monobrand boutiques for luxury names such as Cartier, Rolex, Omega, and Hermès. The mission is to captivate enthusiasts and connoisseurs alike in urban settings.
- Lead and develop the sales team through recruitment, training, and coaching, ensuring operational presence on the sales floor.
- Drive commercial growth by devising strategic action plans and communicating them effectively to achieve sales targets.
- Foster a customer-centric environment, ensuring exceptional client experiences and fostering loyalty.
- Oversee administrative management, ensuring compliance with social regulations and adherence to group policies and brand directives.
- Manage operational tasks including accounting, HR, reporting, stock control, after-sales service, and security.
- Minimum of 2 years of successful experience in a similar role.
- Strategic thinking and client orientation.
- Ambitious and results-driven with a focus on impactful performance.
- Leadership skills with the ability to build and motivate high-performing teams.
At least 2 years of successful experience in a similar position within the retail sector.
Fixed salary between €2200 and €2400 over 12.5 months, with performance-based variable compensation.
