Galeries Lafayette Human Resources Intern
The Watch and Jewelry Division of the Galeries Lafayette Group is the leading French distributor of watches and jewelry through its brands: Galeries Lafayette, Louis Pion, and Galeries Lafayette-Royal Quartz. The division serves as the purchasing center for jewelry and watch sectors for the 57 Galeries Lafayette department stores in France and Luxembourg. It also operates multi-brand watch spaces in 40 of these stores. With 70 retail outlets across France and an e-commerce site, Louis Pion offers a wide selection of watches and jewelry from over 60 brands, ranging from accessible to premium, including its own collections. Galeries Lafayette-Royal Quartz provides access to over 50 prestigious watch and jewelry brands through its network of 12 boutiques and an e-commerce site. The division also operates mono-brand boutiques such as Cartier, Rolex, Omega, Messika, Tudor, and Hermès in department stores and airports.
- Draft and post job advertisements on various job boards
- Conduct phone screenings and participate in physical interviews
- Present a shortlist of candidates to operational teams
- Update and monitor recruitment dashboards
- Prepare for the integration of new employees
- Assist in launching the 2025 Skills Development Plan
- Track training registrations
- Prepare and coordinate training sessions
- Work on various HR projects such as integration programs, employee surveys, employer branding, internal communication, and tool deployment
- Background in Human Resources
- First successful experience in a similar role
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Good writing skills
- Versatile, curious, reactive, and organized
