Merchandising Assistant Intern

The Watch and Jewelry Division of the Galeries Lafayette Group is the leading French distributor of watches and jewelry through its brands: Galeries Lafayette, Louis Pion, and Galeries Lafayette-Royal Quartz. The division serves as the purchasing center for jewelry and watch sectors across 57 Galeries Lafayette department stores in France and Luxembourg. It operates multi-brand watch spaces in 40 of these stores. Louis Pion offers a wide selection of watches and jewelry across 70 retail locations and an e-commerce site. Galeries Lafayette-Royal Quartz provides access to over 50 prestigious watch and jewelry brands through 12 boutiques and an online platform. The division also manages monobrand boutiques such as Cartier, Rolex, Omega, Messika, Tudor, and Hermès in department stores and airports.

1. Assist the Merchandising Project Manager and Visual Identity and Merchandising Manager with projects for Louis Pion and Galeries Lafayette Royal Quartz.
2. Draft merchandising books for Louis Pion and Galeries Lafayette La Joaillerie.
3. Collaborate with the Purchasing Department and Merchandising Project Manager to implement watch and jewelry collections in the showroom and translate them into books for field teams.
4. Support the project manager in creating point-of-sale displays and communication materials for product promotion.
5. Act as a liaison with the graphic designer.
6. Conduct store visits.

1. Holder of a BAC+2, ideally specialized in Merchandising.

3. Proficiency in Indesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
4. Awareness of trends.
5. Creative, aesthetic, and analytical sense.
6. Strong interpersonal skills.

Internship available from January 2025.

Holder of a BAC+2, ideally specialized in Merchandising.

Based at the headquarters in Levallois-Perret, France, the role is part of the Marketing and Communication Department of the Watch and Jewelry Division.
