Intern – Supply Chain Assistant

The Watch and Jewelry Division of the Galeries Lafayette Group is the leading French distributor of watches and jewelry through its brands: Galeries Lafayette, Louis Pion, and Galeries Lafayette-Royal Quartz. The division serves as the purchasing center for jewelry and watch sectors for the 57 Galeries Lafayette department stores in France and Luxembourg. It operates multi-brand watch spaces in 40 of these stores and has 70 Louis Pion retail outlets across France, offering a wide range of watches and jewelry. Galeries Lafayette-Royal Quartz provides access to over 50 prestigious watch and jewelry brands with 12 boutiques and an e-commerce site. The division also manages mono-brand boutiques such as Cartier, Rolex, Omega, Messika, Tudor, and Hermès in department stores and airports.

1. Assist the Management Team in the Jewelry and Watch sectors for Galeries Lafayette.
2. Update, analyze, and communicate weekly and monthly activity and stock reports.
3. Provide assessments of past and current collections and contribute to future assortment planning.
4. Identify bestsellers and quantify restocks within budget constraints.
5. Manage store supply of jewelry and watches across the luxury and fashion network and monitor stock levels.
6. Track performance of various commercial operations.
7. Participate in additional projects such as returns, transfers, and destocking.

1. Currently a student in a business school or university, at Bac +4/5 level.
2. Looking for a 6-month internship starting January 2025.

1. Proficiency in Excel.
2. Strong numerical skills.
3. Interest in purchasing and supply management.
4. Autonomy, rigor, curiosity, and excellent interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to work on cross-functional projects in a team.

Currently a student in a business school or university, at Bac +4/5 level.
