Galeries Lafayette Logistics and Internal Flow Assistant Intern
Galeries Lafayette, a prominent entity in the French luxury retail landscape, operates as the leading distributor of timepieces and jewelry through its esteemed brands: Galeries Lafayette, Louis Pion, and Galeries Lafayette-Royal Quartz. The Horlogerie Bijouterie division serves as the central purchasing hub for jewelry and watch sectors across 57 flagship stores in France and Luxembourg. Louis Pion offers a diverse selection of watches and jewelry, while Galeries Lafayette-Royal Quartz provides exclusive access to over 50 prestigious brands. The division also manages monobrand boutiques for iconic names such as Cartier, Rolex, and Hermès, catering to both urban and airport clientele.
- Monitor and enhance the performance of transporters from preparation sites to delivery for both internal (B2B) and external (B2C, E-Commerce) clients.
- Investigate and resolve delivery delays, ensuring timely problem resolution.
- Manage disputes with transporters and oversee corresponding reimbursements.
- Serve as a liaison with the customer service team (E-commerce) and operational teams (warehouse and stores).
- Support the internal flow manager in creating and analyzing reports and dashboards.
- Update the ERP system (Cegid) following transport events such as loss, theft, or delays.
- Monitor and manage E-Commerce returns and refunds at the warehouse.
- Ensure proper processing of e-orders by store and warehouse preparers.
- Assist in the administrative management of intra-group merchandise flows, including monitoring indicators and alerts.
- Contribute to the development of CSR initiatives (stock clearance, recycling).
- Support the after-sales service team in managing administrative tasks related to workshop quotes (price updates and repair deadline follow-ups).
- Currently enrolled in a business school or university, pursuing a Master's degree (Bac +4/5) with a specialization in Supply Chain or Internal Control.
- Strong administrative capabilities with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in technical software related to transport management, E-Commerce, after-sales service, or inventory management.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient in spreadsheet applications such as Excel.
No prior professional experience required, but relevant academic projects or internships in supply chain or logistics are advantageous.
Pursuing a Master's degree in a relevant field.
