Galeries Lafayette Luxury Event Project Assistant Intern
The Watch and Jewelry Division of the Galeries Lafayette Group stands as the preeminent French leader in the distribution of timepieces and jewelry through its distinguished brands: Galeries Lafayette, Louis Pion, and Galeries Lafayette-Royal Quartz. Serving as the central purchasing hub for jewelry and watch sectors across 57 Galeries Lafayette department stores in France and Luxembourg, the division also manages multi-brand watch spaces in 40 of these stores. Louis Pion, with 70 retail locations and an e-commerce platform, offers an extensive selection of watches and jewelry, including its proprietary collections. Galeries Lafayette-Royal Quartz provides exclusive access to over 50 prestigious watch and jewelry brands through its 12 boutiques and online presence, also offering bespoke jewelry creation services. The division further operates mono-brand boutiques for luxury names such as Cartier, Rolex, and Hermès, aiming to captivate enthusiasts and connoisseurs alike.
- Assist the Luxury Marketing Manager with projects for Galeries Lafayette Royal Quartz Paris.
- Oversee operational follow-up related to luxury activities.
- Manage event projects, including soirées, press days, and partnerships.
- Handle press product management.
- Support the creation and production of the watch and jewelry catalog.
- Draft internal luxury newsletters.
- Prepare meetings, including action plans and project follow-ups.
- Conduct regular budget tracking.
- Monitor the needs of the luxury network.
- Ensure qualitative and quantitative follow-up of events with sales teams.
- Raise awareness among operational teams about client loyalty.
- Pursuing a Master's degree in Marketing or Communication, preferably with a focus on luxury.
- Available for a 6-month internship starting January 2025.
- Autonomous work ethic.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Trend awareness and creative aesthetic sense.
No specific prior experience required, but a strong interest in luxury marketing and event management is preferred.
Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Marketing or Communication.
