Galeries Lafayette Sales Associate
The Watch and Jewelry Division of the Galeries Lafayette Group stands as the preeminent French leader in the distribution of horology and jewelry through its esteemed brands: Galeries Lafayette, Louis Pion, and Galeries Lafayette-Royal Quartz. As the central purchasing entity for the jewelry and watch sectors across 57 integrated and affiliated department stores in France and Luxembourg, it also manages multi-brand watch spaces in 40 of these locations. With 70 Louis Pion retail outlets across France and a robust e-commerce platform, the brand offers an extensive selection of watches and, more recently, jewelry, spanning over 60 brands from accessible to premium, including its own Louis Pion collections. Galeries Lafayette-Royal Quartz provides exclusive access to over 50 prestigious watch and jewelry brands, both in urban centers and airports, through its network of 12 boutiques and an online store. The division also operates mono-brand boutiques for Cartier, Rolex, Omega, Messika, Tudor, and Hermès in department stores and airports, aiming to captivate enthusiasts and connoisseurs alike.
- Welcome and assist customers, ensuring a premium shopping experience.
- Advise clients and tailor recommendations to their needs.
- Handle transactions and ensure accurate cash management.
- Promote the Louis Pion brand and drive sales growth.
- Maintain store presentation and regularly update displays.
- Possess comprehensive knowledge of store offerings and effectively present brands to customers.
- Perform simple in-store repairs (sizing, bracelet changes).
- Manage after-sales service and special orders.
- Oversee deliveries and conduct inventory checks.
- Highlight and promote jewelry selections.
- Customer-oriented with strong interpersonal skills.
- Action-oriented with a focus on achieving results.
- Adaptable to various situations and open to new challenges.
- Preferably possess a diploma in horology.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Sales acumen and ability to drive revenue.
- Proficiency in handling transactions and cash management.
- Knowledge of jewelry and watch repair techniques.
- Inventory management skills.
Previous experience in retail, particularly in luxury goods, is preferred.
Preferably a diploma in horology.
Fixed remuneration over 12.5 months with variable pay linked to sales performance.
