The Watch and Jewelry Division of the Galeries Lafayette Group stands as the preeminent French distributor in the horology and jewelry sectors through its distinguished brands: Galeries Lafayette, Louis Pion, and Galeries Lafayette-Royal Quartz. This division serves as the purchasing hub for jewelry and watch sectors across 57 Galeries Lafayette department stores in France and Luxembourg, managing multi-brand watch spaces in 40 of these locations. With 70 Louis Pion retail outlets nationwide and an e-commerce platform, the brand offers an extensive selection of watches and, more recently, jewelry from over 60 brands, ranging from accessible to premium, including its own collections. Galeries Lafayette-Royal Quartz provides exclusive access to over 50 prestigious watch and jewelry brands, both in urban settings and airports, with a network of 12 boutiques and an online presence. Additionally, the division operates mono-brand boutiques for renowned names such as Cartier, Rolex, Omega, Messika, Tudor, and Hermès within department stores and airports. The division aims to captivate the curiosity and passion of watch and jewelry enthusiasts.
- Welcome and assist customers, ensuring a superior client experience.
- Provide tailored advice and develop persuasive sales arguments to meet customer needs.
- Handle transactions efficiently and accurately.
- Promote the Louis Pion brand and contribute to sales growth.
- Maintain store presentation and regularly update displays.
- Possess in-depth knowledge of store offerings and effectively present brands to customers.
- Perform simple on-site repairs such as resizing and bracelet changes.
- Manage after-sales service and special order follow-ups.
- Oversee delivery checks and conduct inventory counts.
- Highlight and promote the jewelry selection.
- Customer-oriented with a proven ability to build trust and provide personalized solutions.
- Action-oriented with a focus on achieving results.
- Adaptable to various situations and open to new challenges.
- Preferably holds a diploma in horology.
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Strong sales and negotiation abilities.
- Proficiency in handling transactions and managing inventory.
- Ability to perform basic watch repairs.
- Effective communication and brand promotion skills.
Previous experience in retail sales, particularly in the watch or jewelry industry, is preferred.
Preferably a diploma in horology.
Fixed remuneration over 12.5 months with performance-based variable compensation.
