The Watch and Jewelry Division of the Galeries Lafayette Group stands as a preeminent leader in the French distribution of horology and jewelry through its esteemed brands: Galeries Lafayette, Louis Pion, and Galeries Lafayette-Royal Quartz. As the central purchasing entity for the jewelry and watch sectors across 57 Galeries Lafayette department stores in France and Luxembourg, the division also manages multibrand watch spaces in 40 of these locations. Louis Pion, with its 70 retail outlets across France and an e-commerce platform, offers an extensive selection of watches and, more recently, jewelry from over 60 brands ranging from accessible to premium, including its own Louis Pion collections. Galeries Lafayette-Royal Quartz provides exclusive access to over 50 prestigious watch and jewelry brands, operating in urban locations and airports with 12 boutiques and an online store. Additionally, the division runs monobrand boutiques for renowned names like Cartier, Rolex, Omega, Messika, Tudor, and Hermès in department stores and airports. The division aims to captivate the curious, enthusiasts, and aficionados of watches and jewelry alike.
- Welcome and assist customers, ensuring a superior client experience.
- Advise clients with tailored solutions and develop persuasive sales arguments.
- Process transactions efficiently.
- Promote the Louis Pion brand and drive sales growth.
- Maintain store presentation and execute regular restocking and visual merchandising.
- Possess comprehensive knowledge of store offerings and effectively present brands to customers.
- Handle simple on-site repairs such as resizing and bracelet changes.
- Manage after-sales service and special order follow-ups.
- Oversee delivery checks and conduct inventory counts.
- Showcase our curated jewelry selection with enthusiasm.
- Customer-oriented with a strong ability to build trust and provide personalized solutions.
- Action-oriented with a focus on achieving results.
- Adaptable to various situations and open to new challenges.
- Preferably holds a diploma in horology.
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Strong sales and negotiation abilities.
- Proficient in handling transactions and inventory management.
- Knowledge of watch and jewelry brands and products.
- Ability to perform basic repairs and manage after-sales services.
Previous experience in retail sales, preferably within the watch or jewelry industry, is required.
Preferably a diploma in horology.
Fixed salary over 12.5 months with performance-based variable compensation.
