The Watch and Jewelry Division of the Galeries Lafayette Group stands as the leading French distributor of horology and jewelry through its esteemed brands: Galeries Lafayette, Louis Pion, and Galeries Lafayette-Royal Quartz. As the central purchasing entity for the jewelry and watch sectors across 57 department stores in France and Luxembourg, it operates multi-brand watch spaces in 40 of these locations. Louis Pion, with 70 retail outlets and an e-commerce platform, offers an extensive selection of watches and jewelry from over 60 brands, ranging from accessible to premium, alongside its own collections. Galeries Lafayette-Royal Quartz provides exclusive access to over 50 prestigious watch and jewelry brands through its network of 12 boutiques and online presence. The division also manages mono-brand boutiques for renowned names such as Cartier, Rolex, Omega, Messika, Tudor, and Hermès in department stores and airports. Its mission is to captivate the curious, enthusiasts, and connoisseurs of watches and jewelry alike.
- Welcome and assist customers, ensuring a high level of service and satisfaction.
- Provide tailored advice to customers and develop appropriate sales arguments.
- Handle transactions and manage the cash register.
- Promote the Louis Pion brand and contribute to sales growth.
- Maintain store appearance and regularly update displays.
- Possess in-depth knowledge of store offerings and effectively present brands to customers.
- Perform simple repairs on-site, such as resizing and bracelet changes.
- Oversee after-sales service and special order processing.
- Manage deliveries and conduct inventory checks.
- Highlight the selection of jewelry with enthusiasm.
- Customer-oriented mindset with a focus on building trust and providing personalized solutions.
- Action-oriented with a results-driven approach.
- Adaptability to different situations and openness to new challenges.
- Preferably hold a diploma in horology.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to develop and maintain customer relationships.
- Sales acumen with the ability to meet and exceed targets.
- Proficiency in handling transactions and cash management.
- Knowledge of watch and jewelry brands and products.
Previous experience in retail sales, particularly in the watch or jewelry sector, is preferred.
Diploma in horology preferred.
Fixed salary over 12.5 months with performance-based variable compensation.
