Galeries Lafayette Sales Associate
The Watch and Jewelry Division of the Galeries Lafayette Group stands as the premier French distributor of horology and jewelry through its esteemed brands: Galeries Lafayette, Louis Pion, and Galeries Lafayette-Royal Quartz. This division serves as the purchasing hub for jewelry and watch sectors across 57 Galeries Lafayette department stores in France and Luxembourg, operating multi-brand watch spaces in 40 of these locations. With 70 Louis Pion retail outlets nationwide and an e-commerce platform, the brand offers an extensive selection of watches and, more recently, jewelry from over 60 brands, ranging from accessible to premium, alongside its proprietary collections. Galeries Lafayette-Royal Quartz provides exclusive access to over 50 prestigious watch and jewelry brands in urban and airport settings, supported by a network of 12 boutiques and an e-commerce site. The division also manages monobrand boutiques for Cartier, Rolex, Omega, Messika, Tudor, and Hermès in department stores and airports, aiming to captivate watch and jewelry enthusiasts.
- Welcome and assist customers, ensuring a superior client experience.
- Advise customers and tailor recommendations to their needs.
- Handle transactions and process payments efficiently.
- Promote the Louis Pion brand and drive sales growth.
- Maintain store presentation and regularly update displays.
- Be knowledgeable about store offerings and present brands to customers.
- Perform simple on-site repairs (sizing, bracelet changes).
- Manage after-sales service and special orders.
- Oversee delivery checks and conduct inventory audits.
- Customer-oriented mindset with a focus on building trust and providing personalized solutions.
- Action-oriented with a results-driven approach, adaptable to new challenges.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in sales techniques and customer service.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred.
Fixed remuneration over 12.5 months with performance-based variable pay.
