The Horlogerie Bijouterie division of the Galeries Lafayette Group stands as the preeminent French leader in the distribution of watches and jewelry through its esteemed brands: Galeries Lafayette, Louis Pion, and Galeries Lafayette-Royal Quartz. Serving as the central purchasing entity for jewelry and watch sectors across 57 department stores in France and Luxembourg, this division also manages multi-brand watch spaces in 40 of these locations. Louis Pion, with 70 retail outlets across France and an e-commerce platform, offers an extensive selection of watches and, more recently, jewelry, spanning over 60 brands from accessible to premium, including its own collections. Galeries Lafayette-Royal Quartz provides exclusive access to more than 50 prestigious watch and jewelry brands, operating in urban and airport settings with 12 boutiques and an online store. Additionally, bespoke jewelry creation services are available. Beyond its own brands, the division operates monobrand boutiques for Cartier, Rolex, Omega, Messika, Tudor, and Hermès in department stores and airports. The Horlogerie Bijouterie division aims to captivate the hearts of watch and jewelry enthusiasts, from the curious to the passionate.
- Welcome and assist customers, ensuring a high level of service.
- Advise clients and tailor arguments to meet their needs.
- Handle transactions and ensure accurate cash management.
- Promote the Louis Pion brand and drive sales growth.
- Maintain store presentation and regularly replenish displays.
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of store offerings and present brands to customers.
- Perform simple repairs on-site, such as resizing and bracelet changes.
- Manage after-sales service and special order follow-ups.
- Oversee delivery checks and conduct inventory counts.
- Highlight and promote jewelry selections with enthusiasm.
- Customer-oriented mindset with a focus on building trust and providing personalized solutions.
- Action-oriented with a results-driven approach.
- Adaptability to various situations and openness to new challenges.
- Preferably holds a diploma in horology.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Sales and negotiation expertise.
- Ability to perform basic watch repairs.
- Inventory management skills.
- Proficiency in promoting and marketing luxury products.
Prior experience in retail sales, particularly in luxury goods, is preferred.
