Galeries Lafayette Sales Associate
The Watch and Jewelry Division of the Galeries Lafayette Group stands as the French leader in the distribution of timepieces and fine jewelry through its distinguished brands: Galeries Lafayette, Louis Pion, and Galeries Lafayette-Royal Quartz. Serving as the purchasing hub for jewelry and watch sectors across 57 department stores in France and Luxembourg, the division operates multi-brand watch spaces in 40 of these locations. Louis Pion, with its 70 retail outlets and e-commerce platform, offers a curated selection of watches and jewelry from over 60 brands, alongside its proprietary collections. Galeries Lafayette-Royal Quartz provides exclusive access to over 50 prestigious watch and jewelry brands through its 12 boutiques and online presence. The division also manages monobrand boutiques for Cartier, Rolex, Omega, Messika, Tudor, and Hermès in department stores and airports, aiming to captivate both enthusiasts and connoisseurs alike.
- Welcome and assist customers, ensuring a premium client experience.
- Advise clients and tailor recommendations to their specific needs.
- Handle transactions and ensure accurate payment processing.
- Promote the Louis Pion brand and drive sales growth.
- Maintain store presentation and execute visual merchandising, including regular restocking.
- Possess comprehensive knowledge of store offerings and effectively present brands to customers.
- Perform basic on-site repairs (sizing, bracelet changes).
- Manage after-sales service and special order follow-ups.
- Oversee deliveries and conduct inventory checks.
- Highlight and promote the jewelry selection.
- Customer-oriented with a strong ability to build trust and provide personalized solutions.
- Action-oriented with a focus on achieving results.
- Adaptable and open to new challenges.
- Preferably holds a degree in horology.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong sales and negotiation abilities.
- Proficient in inventory management.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on customer satisfaction.
Previous experience in retail sales, preferably within the luxury or watch and jewelry sector, is advantageous.
Preferably a degree in horology.
Fixed remuneration over 12.5 months with performance-based variable compensation.
