Galeries Lafayette Sales Associate
The Watch and Jewelry Division of the Galeries Lafayette Group stands as the preeminent French leader in the distribution of watches and jewelry through its esteemed brands: Galeries Lafayette, Louis Pion, and Galeries Lafayette-Royal Quartz. This division serves as the purchasing hub for the jewelry and watch sectors across 57 Galeries Lafayette department stores, both integrated and affiliated, in France and Luxembourg. It operates multi-brand watch spaces in 40 of these stores. With 70 Louis Pion outlets nationwide and an e-commerce platform, the brand offers an extensive selection of watches and, more recently, jewelry from over 60 brands, ranging from accessible to premium, alongside its own collections. Galeries Lafayette-Royal Quartz provides exclusive access to over 50 prestigious watch and jewelry brands through its network of 12 boutiques and an online store, also offering bespoke jewelry creation services. Beyond its brands, the division manages mono-brand boutiques for Cartier, Rolex, Omega, Messika, Tudor, and Hermès in department stores and airports. The division's mission is to captivate the curious, enthusiasts, and connoisseurs of watches and jewelry in urban settings.
- Welcome and assist clients, ensuring a superior customer experience.
- Advise clients and tailor recommendations to their specific needs.
- Handle transactions and manage the point of sale.
- Promote the Louis Pion brand and drive sales growth.
- Maintain store presentation and regularly update displays.
- Possess comprehensive knowledge of store offerings and effectively present brands to clients.
- Perform simple on-site repairs (sizing, bracelet changes).
- Manage after-sales service and special order follow-ups.
- Oversee delivery checks and conduct inventory assessments.
- Highlight and promote our jewelry selection.
- Customer-oriented with a strong ability to build trust and provide personalized solutions.
- Action-oriented with a focus on achieving results.
- Adaptable and open to new challenges.
- Preferably holds a diploma in watchmaking.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Sales acumen and persuasive abilities.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Technical skills for simple repairs.
Experience in retail, particularly in luxury or watchmaking, is preferred.
Preferably a diploma in watchmaking.
Fixed remuneration over 12.5 months with performance-based variable pay.
