The Watch and Jewelry Division of the Galeries Lafayette Group stands as the preeminent French leader in the distribution of timepieces and fine jewelry through its brands: Galeries Lafayette, Louis Pion, and Galeries Lafayette-Royal Quartz. This division serves as the purchasing hub for jewelry and watch sectors across the 57 Galeries Lafayette department stores in France and Luxembourg. Operating multi-brand watch spaces in 40 of these stores, it also boasts 70 Louis Pion retail locations throughout France and an e-commerce platform, offering a diverse selection of watches and jewelry from over 60 brands. Galeries Lafayette-Royal Quartz provides exclusive access to over 50 prestigious watch and jewelry brands, both in urban settings and airports, through its network of 12 boutiques and online presence. Additionally, the division manages mono-brand boutiques for luxury names such as Cartier, Rolex, Omega, Messika, Tudor, and Hermès. The Watch and Jewelry Division aims to captivate the curious, enthusiasts, and connoisseurs of watches and jewelry alike.
- Welcome and assist customers, ensuring a personalized shopping experience.
- Advise clients and tailor recommendations to meet their specific needs.
- Handle transactions efficiently and accurately.
- Promote the Louis Pion brand and contribute to sales growth.
- Maintain store presentation and regularly update displays.
- Possess comprehensive knowledge of store offerings and effectively present brands to customers.
- Perform basic on-site repairs, such as resizing and bracelet replacements.
- Oversee after-sales service and manage special orders.
- Monitor deliveries and conduct inventory checks.
- Highlight and promote the jewelry selection.
- Customer-oriented mindset with a strong ability to build trust and provide personalized solutions.
- Action-oriented with a focus on achieving results.
- Adaptability to various situations and openness to new challenges.
- Preferably holds a diploma in horology.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Sales acumen with the ability to upsell and cross-sell.
- Proficiency in handling transactions and managing inventory.
- Basic repair skills for watches and jewelry.
Prior experience in retail sales, particularly in the luxury sector, is preferred.
Diploma in horology is preferred.
Fixed salary over 12.5 months with performance-based variable compensation.
