Galeries Lafayette Sales Associate
The Watch and Jewelry Division of Groupe Galeries Lafayette stands as the preeminent French leader in the distribution of timepieces and fine jewelry through its esteemed brands: Galeries Lafayette, Louis Pion, and Galeries Lafayette-Royal Quartz. This division serves as the purchasing hub for jewelry and watch sectors across 57 Galeries Lafayette department stores in France and Luxembourg, managing multi-brand watch spaces in 40 of these locations. Louis Pion, with its 70 retail outlets and e-commerce platform, offers an extensive selection of watches and jewelry from over 60 brands, ranging from accessible to premium, alongside its proprietary collections. Galeries Lafayette-Royal Quartz provides exclusive access to over 50 prestigious watch and jewelry brands through its 12 boutiques and online presence, including bespoke jewelry creation services. Additionally, the division operates monobrand boutiques such as Cartier, Rolex, Omega, Messika, Tudor, and Hermès in department stores and airports. The division is dedicated to captivating the curiosity and passion of watch and jewelry enthusiasts.
- Welcome and assist customers, ensuring a premium client experience.
- Advise clients and tailor recommendations to meet their needs.
- Handle transactions and process payments efficiently.
- Promote the Louis Pion brand and drive sales growth.
- Maintain store presentation and regularly update displays.
- Possess in-depth knowledge of store offerings and present brands to clients.
- Perform basic on-site repairs (sizing, bracelet changes).
- Manage after-sales service and special order follow-ups.
- Oversee deliveries and conduct inventory checks.
- Showcase the jewelry selection with enthusiasm.
- Customer-centric approach with strong interpersonal skills.
- Action-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving results.
- Adaptability to various situations and challenges.
- Preferably holds a diploma in horology.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Sales acumen with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Ability to perform basic watch repairs.
- Strong organizational skills for inventory management.
Previous experience in retail sales, particularly in luxury goods or jewelry, is preferred.
Preferably a diploma in horology.
Fixed salary over 12.5 months with performance-based variable pay.
