Galeries Lafayette Sales Associate
The Horlogerie Bijouterie division of the Galeries Lafayette Group stands as the preeminent French leader in the distribution of watches and jewelry through its esteemed brands: Galeries Lafayette, Louis Pion, and Galeries Lafayette-Royal Quartz. This division serves as the purchasing hub for jewelry and watch sectors across 57 Galeries Lafayette department stores in France and Luxembourg. Louis Pion, with its extensive network of 70 retail outlets and an e-commerce platform, offers an unparalleled selection of watches and jewelry from over 60 brands, ranging from accessible to premium, alongside its own collections. Galeries Lafayette-Royal Quartz provides exclusive access to over 50 prestigious watch and jewelry brands through its 12 boutiques and online presence. The division also operates monobrand boutiques for Cartier, Rolex, Omega, Messika, Tudor, and Hermès within department stores and airports, aiming to captivate enthusiasts and connoisseurs of timepieces and jewelry.
- Welcome and assist customers, ensuring a high-quality client experience.
- Advise clients and develop tailored arguments to meet their needs.
- Handle transactions and promote the Louis Pion brand to boost sales.
- Participate in store maintenance and window display creation, ensuring regular restocking.
- Possess comprehensive knowledge of store offerings and effectively present brands to clientele.
- Perform simple on-site repairs (sizing, bracelet changes).
- Manage after-sales service and special order follow-ups.
- Oversee delivery checks and conduct inventory counts.
- Highlight and promote the jewelry selection.
- Customer-oriented with strong interpersonal skills.
- Action-oriented with a focus on achieving results.
- Adaptable and open to new challenges.
- Excellent communication and sales skills.
- Ability to build trustful relationships with clients.
- Proficiency in handling transactions and after-sales services.
- Strong organizational skills for inventory management.
Previous experience in retail sales, preferably in luxury goods or jewelry, is advantageous.
Fixed salary over 12.5 months with performance-based variable compensation.
