Galeries Lafayette Sales Associate
The Watch and Jewelry Division of the Galeries Lafayette Group stands as the preeminent French leader in the distribution of horology and jewelry through its brands: Galeries Lafayette, Louis Pion, and Galeries Lafayette-Royal Quartz. This division serves as the purchasing hub for the jewelry and watch sectors across 57 Galeries Lafayette department stores in France and Luxembourg. Louis Pion, with 70 retail locations and an e-commerce platform, offers a curated selection of watches and jewelry from over 60 brands, ranging from accessible to premium, alongside its own collections. Galeries Lafayette-Royal Quartz provides exclusive access to over 50 prestigious watch and jewelry brands through its 12 boutiques and online presence. The division also manages monobrand boutiques for Cartier, Rolex, Omega, Messika, Tudor, and Hermès.
- Welcome and assist customers, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Advise clients and tailor recommendations to their needs.
- Handle transactions and process payments.
- Promote the Louis Pion brand and drive sales.
- Maintain store presentation and execute regular stock replenishment.
- Demonstrate knowledge of store offerings and present brands to customers.
- Perform simple on-site repairs (e.g., resizing, bracelet changes).
- Manage after-sales service and special orders.
- Oversee deliveries and conduct inventory checks.
- Showcase jewelry selections with enthusiasm.
- Customer-oriented with a strong ability to build trust and provide personalized solutions.
- Action-oriented with a focus on achieving results.
- Adaptable and open to new challenges.
- Preferably holds a diploma in horology.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Sales and customer service expertise.
- Ability to perform basic watch repairs.
- Proficiency in inventory management.
- Brand promotion and marketing acumen.
Previous experience in retail sales, particularly in the watch or jewelry sector, is preferred.
Preferably a diploma in horology.
Fixed salary over 12.5 months with performance-based variable compensation.
