The Watch and Jewelry Division of the Galeries Lafayette Group stands as a prominent leader in the French distribution of horology and jewelry through its esteemed brands: Galeries Lafayette, Louis Pion, and Galeries Lafayette-Royal Quartz. As the central purchasing hub for jewelry and watch sectors across 57 department stores in France and Luxembourg, the division manages multi-brand watch spaces in 40 of these stores. Louis Pion, with 70 retail locations nationwide and an e-commerce platform, offers a curated selection of over 60 brands, ranging from accessible to premium, alongside its proprietary collections. Galeries Lafayette-Royal Quartz provides exclusive access to over 50 prestigious watch and jewelry brands, operating 12 boutiques in urban and airport settings. The division also manages monobrand boutiques for Cartier, Rolex, Omega, Messika, Tudor, and Hermès, aiming to captivate enthusiasts and connoisseurs alike.
- Welcome and assist customers, ensuring a premium client experience.
- Advise customers and tailor recommendations to their specific needs.
- Handle transactions and ensure accurate payment processing.
- Promote the Louis Pion brand to enhance sales and customer loyalty.
- Maintain store presentation and regularly update displays.
- Possess comprehensive knowledge of store offerings and effectively present brands to clients.
- Perform basic on-site repairs such as resizing and bracelet changes.
- Manage after-sales service and special order follow-ups.
- Oversee inventory control and conduct regular stock checks.
- Highlight and promote the jewelry selection with enthusiasm.
- Customer-oriented with a focus on building trust and providing personalized solutions.
- Action-oriented with a drive for achieving results.
- Adaptable and open to new challenges.
- Preferably holds a diploma in horology.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to develop and maintain client relationships.
- Proficiency in sales techniques and customer service.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic technical skills for simple repairs.
Previous experience in retail sales, preferably within the luxury or horology sector, is advantageous.
Preferably a diploma in horology.
Fixed salary over 12.5 months with performance-based variable compensation.
