Galeries Lafayette Product Manager - Watches
The Watch and Jewelry Division of the Galeries Lafayette Group stands as the premier French distributor in the horology and jewelry sectors through its esteemed brands: Galeries Lafayette, Louis Pion, and Galeries Lafayette-Royal Quartz. This division serves as the purchasing hub for jewelry and watch sectors across 57 Galeries Lafayette department stores in France and Luxembourg. With 70 retail locations and an e-commerce platform, Louis Pion offers an extensive selection of watches and jewelry, while Galeries Lafayette-Royal Quartz provides exclusive access to over 50 prestigious watch and jewelry brands. The division also operates monobrand boutiques for renowned names such as Cartier, Rolex, and Omega, aiming to captivate watch and jewelry enthusiasts.
- Develop the annual plan for Louis Pion watches and watch straps.
- Conduct competitive analysis and performance evaluation of the product portfolio.
- Analyze product life cycles and recommend discontinuations or new introductions.
- Review and set retail pricing strategies.
- Collaborate with suppliers to meet product development goals, ensuring quality, cost, and feasibility.
- Coordinate product launches with the Marketing team.
- Manage prototype orders and delivery timelines.
- Analyze cost structures against retail pricing and margin objectives.
- Establish and maintain supplier accounts and relationships.
- Oversee the creation of product references and ensure proper cataloging.
- Master's degree (Bac+5) or equivalent in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in the horology sector.
- Proficiency in written English.
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Ability to collaborate across various departments.
- Analytical skills for market and product evaluation.
- Proficiency in supplier relationship management.
At least 1 year of relevant experience in the horology industry is required.
Master's degree (Bac+5) or equivalent.
Fixed remuneration between €38,000 and €40,000 annually, based on experience and skills, paid over 12.5 months.
