Galeries Lafayette Merchandising Assistant Intern
The Watch and Jewelry Division of the Galeries Lafayette Group stands as the French leader in watch and jewelry retail through its brands: Galeries Lafayette, Louis Pion, and Galeries Lafayette-Royal Quartz. Serving as the purchasing hub for jewelry and watch sectors across 57 Galeries Lafayette department stores in France and Luxembourg, the division also manages multi-brand watch spaces in 40 of these stores. With 70 Louis Pion outlets nationwide and an e-commerce platform, it offers a diverse selection of watches and jewelry from over 60 brands, including its own collections. Galeries Lafayette-Royal Quartz provides access to over 50 prestigious watch and jewelry brands through its 12 boutiques and online store. The division also operates monobrand boutiques for Cartier, Rolex, Omega, Messika, Tudor, and Hermès in department stores and airports, aiming to captivate watch and jewelry enthusiasts.
- Draft merchandising books for Louis Pion and Galeries Lafayette La Joaillerie.
- Collaborate with the Purchasing Department and Merchandising Project Manager to implement watch and jewelry collections in the showroom and translate them into books for field teams.
- Support the Project Manager in creating point-of-sale displays and communication materials, liaising with the graphic designer.
- Conduct store visits as required.
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program (Bac +2) specializing in merchandising.
- Proficiency in Indesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Creative, aesthetic, and analytical mindset.
- Autonomous and trend-aware.
No prior professional experience required, but relevant coursework or projects in merchandising are beneficial.
Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Merchandising or a related field.
