Galeries Lafayette Merchandising Assistant Intern
The Watch and Jewelry Division of the Galeries Lafayette Group stands as the preeminent French leader in the distribution of timepieces and jewelry through its renowned brands: Galeries Lafayette, Louis Pion, and Galeries Lafayette-Royal Quartz. Galeries Lafayette-Royal Quartz provides exclusive access to over 50 prestigious watch and jewelry brands, both in urban settings and airports, through its network of 12 boutiques and online presence. The division also manages mono-brand boutiques for illustrious names such as Cartier, Rolex, Omega, Messika, Tudor, and Hermès in department stores and airports. The Watch and Jewelry Division aims to captivate the curious, enthusiasts, and connoisseurs of timepieces and jewelry alike.
- Draft merchandising books for Louis Pion and Galeries Lafayette La Joaillerie.
- Collaborate with the Purchasing Department and Merchandising Project Manager to implement watch and jewelry collections in the showroom and translate them into books for field teams.
- Support the Project Manager in creating point-of-sale displays and conversational materials, acting as a liaison with the graphic designer.
- Conduct store visits as needed.
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's program specializing in merchandising.
- Proficiency in Indesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Creative, aesthetic, and analytical mindset.
- Ability to work independently and stay attuned to trends.
No prior experience required, but a keen interest in merchandising is essential.
Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Merchandising or a related field.
Internship compensation based on education level: €1000 gross monthly for Bac+2, €1200 gross monthly for Bac+4.
