Galeries Lafayette Luxury Event Project Assistant Intern
The Watch and Jewelry Division of the Galeries Lafayette Group stands as the preeminent French distributor of timepieces and jewelry through its brands: Galeries Lafayette, Louis Pion, and Galeries Lafayette-Royal Quartz. This division serves as the purchasing hub for jewelry and watch sectors across 57 Galeries Lafayette department stores in France and Luxembourg. Operating multi-brand watch spaces in 40 of these stores, it also manages 70 Louis Pion outlets nationwide and an e-commerce platform. Louis Pion offers an extensive selection of watches and jewelry from over 60 brands, ranging from accessible to premium, including its own collections. Galeries Lafayette-Royal Quartz provides exclusive access to over 50 prestigious watch and jewelry brands through its 12 boutiques and online store, also offering bespoke jewelry creation services. Beyond its own brands, the division operates monobrand boutiques such as Cartier, Rolex, Omega, Messika, Tudor, and Hermès in department stores and airports. The division aims to captivate the curious, enthusiasts, and connoisseurs of watches and jewelry.
- Assist the Luxury Marketing Manager with projects for Galeries Lafayette Royal Quartz Paris.
- Oversee operational follow-up related to luxury activities.
- Manage project tracking for organized events such as soirées, press days, and partnerships.
- Handle press product management.
- Support the finalization and completion of the watch and jewelry catalog if necessary.
- Draft the luxury newsletter for internal communication.
- Prepare meetings, including action plans, project tracking, and evaluations.
- Conduct regular budget monitoring.
- Ensure the luxury network's needs are met.
- Provide qualitative and quantitative event follow-up with sales teams.
- Raise operational teams' awareness on client loyalty.
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing or Communication, ideally with a focus on luxury.
- Strong client orientation with a developed sense of customer relations.
- Ability to take initiative and prioritize tasks.
- Adaptability and quick problem-solving skills.
- Autonomous work ethic with excellent communication abilities.
- Keen awareness of trends and a creative aesthetic sense.
No prior experience required, though familiarity with luxury marketing or event management is advantageous.
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Marketing or Communication.
Fixed stipend aligned with educational level: €1,200 gross monthly for Bac+4, €1,400 gross monthly for Bac+5.
