Galeries Lafayette Luxury Event Project Assistant Intern
The Watch and Jewelry Division of the Galeries Lafayette Group stands as the French leader in watch and jewelry retail through its brands: Galeries Lafayette, Louis Pion, and Galeries Lafayette-Royal Quartz. This division serves as the purchasing hub for jewelry and watch sectors across 57 Galeries Lafayette department stores in France and Luxembourg. Operating multi-brand watch spaces in 40 of these stores, Louis Pion offers a diverse selection of watches and jewelry from over 60 brands, ranging from accessible to premium, alongside its own collections. Galeries Lafayette-Royal Quartz provides exclusive access to over 50 prestigious watch and jewelry brands in urban and airport locations, with 12 boutiques and an e-commerce platform. The division also manages monobrand boutiques such as Cartier, Rolex, Omega, Messika, Tudor, and Hermès in department stores and airports. The Watch and Jewelry Division aims to captivate the curious, enthusiasts, and connoisseurs of watches and jewelry alike.
- Assist the Luxury Marketing Manager with projects for Galeries Lafayette Royal Quartz Paris.
- Oversee operational follow-up related to luxury activities.
- Manage event projects including soirées, press days, and partnerships.
- Handle press product management.
- Support the finalization and completion of the watch and jewelry catalog.
- Draft the internal luxury newsletter.
- Prepare meetings, including action plans, project tracking, and evaluations.
- Conduct regular budget tracking.
- Monitor the needs of the luxury network.
- Ensure qualitative and quantitative follow-up of events with sales teams.
- Raise awareness among operational teams about customer loyalty.
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing or Communication, ideally with a focus on luxury.
- Client-oriented with a strong sense of customer relations and satisfaction.
- Proactive and able to take initiative, prioritize tasks, and adapt quickly.
- Autonomous work ethic.
- Excellent communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
- Creativity and aesthetic sense.
- Awareness of trends.
No prior professional experience required, but relevant academic projects or internships in marketing or luxury are advantageous.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in progress, specializing in Marketing or Communication.
Fixed monthly stipend: €1,200 for Bachelor's level, €1,400 for Master's level.
