The Watch and Jewelry Division of the Galeries Lafayette Group is the leading French distributor of watches and jewelry through its brands: Galeries Lafayette, Louis Pion, and Galeries Lafayette-Royal Quartz. The division serves as the purchasing center for jewelry and watch sectors for the 57 Galeries Lafayette department stores in France and Luxembourg. It operates multi-brand watch spaces in 40 of these stores. With 70 retail outlets across France and an e-commerce site, Louis Pion offers a wide selection of watches and jewelry, distributing over 60 brands from accessible to premium, including its own collections. Galeries Lafayette-Royal Quartz provides access to over 50 prestigious watch and jewelry brands in cities and airports with its network of 12 boutiques and an e-commerce site. The division also operates mono-brand boutiques such as Cartier, Rolex, Omega, Messika, Tudor, and Hermès in department stores and airports. The Watch and Jewelry Division aims to captivate watch and jewelry enthusiasts, whether curious, amateur, or passionate.
- Develop and implement action plans to achieve commercial objectives as defined by the management in terms of positioning, brand, revenue, margin, deadlines, and service.
- Manage and animate performance indicators (quantitative and qualitative).
- Communicate the company's strategy to the team by translating it into clear, adapted, and measurable objectives.
- Recruit suitable profiles and ensure their integration and training within the store.
- Develop and coach the team through individual interviews, development committees, training, and the deployment of the sales ceremony.
- Ensure the perfect presentation of the store and optimize the potential of each brand.
- Be responsible for compliance with policies, procedures, and directives.
- Supervise, organize, and coordinate all administrative management operations (human resources, security, merchandise and monetary flows, stock control, after-sales service, etc.).
- Ensure compliance with social regulations.
- Provide weekly reporting to the Regional Director.
- Embody the brand's values daily: customer passion, innovation audacity, collective commitment, and excellence.
- Successful experience of at least 2 years in a similar position, ideally in the retail sector.
- Managerial skills and natural leadership: motivate, develop, and unite a team towards results.
- Passion for service, empathy, adaptability, exemplarity, versatility, and diplomacy.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills, with a constant pursuit of improvement and excellence.
- Excellent presentation and verbal and written communication.
- Strong interest in watch products.
At least 2 years of successful experience in a similar role, preferably in the retail sector.
