Galeries Lafayette Store Manager
Galeries Lafayette, a prominent name in the luxury retail sector, is renowned for its extensive distribution of watches and jewelry through its Horlogerie Bijouterie division. This division encompasses prestigious brands such as Galeries Lafayette, Louis Pion, and Galeries Lafayette-Royal Quartz, and operates a network of 70 retail outlets across France, as well as an e-commerce platform. Louis Pion offers a diverse selection of over 60 watch and jewelry brands, while Galeries Lafayette-Royal Quartz provides access to more than 50 prestigious brands. The division also manages monobrand boutiques for iconic names like Cartier, Rolex, and Omega, aiming to captivate watch and jewelry enthusiasts.
- Develop and implement action plans to achieve commercial objectives set by the management, focusing on brand positioning, revenue, margin, and service.
- Monitor and drive performance indicators, both quantitative and qualitative.
- Communicate the company's strategy to the team, translating it into clear, adapted, and measurable objectives.
- Recruit, integrate, and train suitable profiles within the store.
- Develop and coach the team through individual meetings, development committees, training, and the implementation of the sales ceremonial.
- Ensure the store is impeccably maintained and optimize the potential of each brand.
- Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and directives.
- Supervise, organize, and coordinate all administrative management operations, including HR, security, merchandise and monetary flow, stock control, and after-sales service.
- Ensure adherence to social regulations.
- Provide weekly reports to the Regional Director.
- Act as a brand ambassador, embodying the values of customer passion, innovation, collective commitment, and excellence.
- Successful experience of at least 2 years in a similar role, ideally in the retail sector.
- Natural leadership and managerial capabilities to motivate and develop a results-oriented team.
- Passion for service, empathy, adaptability, exemplary conduct, versatility, and diplomacy.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills, with a constant pursuit of improvement and excellence.
- Outstanding presentation and verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interest in horological products.
At least 2 years of successful experience in a similar role within the retail sector.
