Galeries Lafayette Sales Associate
The Horlogerie Bijouterie division of Groupe Galeries Lafayette stands as the preeminent French leader in the distribution of timepieces and jewelry through its esteemed brands: Galeries Lafayette, Louis Pion, and Galeries Lafayette-Royal Quartz. As the central purchasing entity for jewelry and watch sectors across 57 department stores in France and Luxembourg, it operates multi-brand watch spaces in 40 of these locations. Louis Pion, with its 70 retail outlets and e-commerce platform, offers an extensive selection of watches and jewelry from over 60 brands, ranging from accessible to premium, alongside its own collections. Galeries Lafayette-Royal Quartz provides access to over 50 prestigious watch and jewelry brands through its 12 boutiques and online presence. The division also manages monobrand boutiques for luxury names such as Cartier, Rolex, and Omega, aiming to captivate enthusiasts and connoisseurs alike.
- Welcome and assist clients, ensuring a superior customer experience.
- Advise clients with tailored solutions and develop persuasive sales arguments.
- Handle transactions and promote the Louis Pion brand to increase sales.
- Maintain store presentation and regularly update displays.
- Possess comprehensive knowledge of store offerings and effectively present brands to clients.
- Perform simple on-site repairs such as resizing and bracelet changes.
- Manage and follow up on after-sales service and special orders.
- Oversee deliveries and conduct inventory checks.
- Highlight and promote the jewelry selection with enthusiasm.
- Customer-oriented with a strong ability to build trust and provide personalized solutions.
- Action-oriented with a focus on achieving results.
- Adaptable to various situations and open to new challenges.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Sales and negotiation expertise.
- Proficiency in handling transactions and inventory management.
- Ability to perform basic watch repairs.
Previous experience in a retail or sales environment, preferably within the luxury or fashion sector.
Fixed salary over 12.5 months with performance-based variable compensation.
