Galeries Lafayette Sales Associate
The Watch and Jewelry Division of the Galeries Lafayette Group stands as the preeminent French leader in the distribution of horology and jewelry through its distinguished brands: Galeries Lafayette, Louis Pion, and Galeries Lafayette-Royal Quartz. Serving as the purchasing hub for the jewelry and watch sectors across 57 department stores in France and Luxembourg, this division also manages multibrand watch spaces in 40 of these stores. Louis Pion, with its 70 retail locations across France and a robust e-commerce platform, offers an extensive selection of watches and, more recently, jewelry from over 60 brands, ranging from accessible to premium, including its own collections. Galeries Lafayette-Royal Quartz provides exclusive access to over 50 prestigious watch and jewelry brands through its network of 12 boutiques and an online store. Additionally, bespoke jewelry creation services are available. Beyond its own brands, the division operates monobrand boutiques such as Cartier, Rolex, Omega, Messika, Tudor, and Hermès in department stores and airports, aiming to captivate watch and jewelry enthusiasts.
- Welcome and assist clients, ensuring a superior customer experience.
- Advise clients and tailor recommendations to their needs.
- Handle transactions and payments efficiently.
- Promote the Louis Pion brand and drive sales growth.
- Maintain store presentation and manage window displays with regular restocking.
- Possess thorough knowledge of store offerings and effectively present brands to customers.
- Perform simple repairs on-site, such as resizing and bracelet changes.
- Oversee after-sales service and special order processing.
- Manage deliveries and conduct inventory checks.
- Customer-oriented with strong interpersonal skills.
- Action-oriented with a focus on achieving results.
- Adaptable and open to new challenges.
- Preferably holds a diploma in horology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong sales and negotiation abilities.
- Proficiency in handling transactions and cash management.
- Ability to perform basic watch repairs.
- Knowledge of luxury watch and jewelry brands.
Previous experience in a retail or customer service environment, preferably within the luxury sector, is desirable.
Preferably a diploma in horology.
Fixed salary over 12.5 months with performance-based variable compensation.
