Galeries Lafayette Logistics Specialist

- Provide support to the Logistics Manager by overseeing logistics operations, including inbound and outbound store flows, merchandise handling, system compliance, inventory counts, returns, and back-office maintenance.
- Organize and supervise logistics teams to ensure efficient merchandise movement and availability in-store.
- Contribute to performance analysis by monitoring service indicators and adherence to best practices.
- Train and develop logistics agents on internal procedures, flow management, and IT tools.
- Support the logistics team in daily priority management and problem-solving.
- Identify training and development needs within the team and communicate these to the Logistics Manager.
- Oversee stock control and inventory management for Food-Beauty-Gift sectors, ensuring accurate counts and effective management of returns and defective products.
- Participate in the planning and supervision of annual or ad-hoc inventories, ensuring accurate execution and result verification.
- Identify process inefficiencies and propose solutions for optimization.
- Collaborate with the Logistics Manager to implement new digital tools and procedures to enhance merchandise management.
- Proficiency in technology and a keen interest in adopting new innovations.

Previous experience in logistics or supply chain management, preferably within the retail sector.
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
Competitive fixed salary of €2,100 gross per month, with potential for variable pay up to €150 gross monthly based on sales performance.
