Galeries Lafayette Logistics Operations Assistant Intern
The Watch and Jewelry Division of the Galeries Lafayette Group stands as the preeminent French leader in the distribution of horology and jewelry through its esteemed brands: Galeries Lafayette, Louis Pion, and Galeries Lafayette-Royal Quartz. This division serves as the purchasing hub for the jewelry and watch sectors across 57 Galeries Lafayette department stores in France and Luxembourg. With 70 Louis Pion retail locations and an e-commerce platform, the division offers an extensive selection of watches and jewelry from over 60 brands, ranging from accessible to premium, including its own collections. Galeries Lafayette-Royal Quartz provides exclusive access to over 50 prestigious watch and jewelry brands through its 12 boutiques and online presence. Additionally, the division operates mono-brand boutiques for luxury names such as Cartier, Rolex, and Omega. The division's mission is to captivate the curiosity and passion of watch and jewelry enthusiasts in urban settings.
- Ensure proper handling of e-commerce orders by store and warehouse preparers.
- Monitor customer returns, update systems, and coordinate refunds.
- Contribute to intra-group flow monitoring (replenishment, after-sales service shipments) using dashboards and KPI calculations.
- Address and resolve delivery incidents (delays, losses, disputes).
- Communicate with internal teams (customer service, warehouses, stores).
- Analyze carrier performance via dashboards and KPI calculations.
- Assist in managing a service provider for two fiscal inventory campaigns in September and November for fashion and luxury stores.
- Participate in the analysis of discrepancies and corrective actions.
- Contribute to the deployment of new packaging solutions for e-commerce shipments to enhance customer experience and product security while optimizing costs in compliance with new environmental regulations.
- Currently enrolled in a business school or university at a Bac+4 or Bac+5 level.
- Seeking a six-month internship starting in July or September 2025.
- Action-oriented with initiative-taking capabilities.
- Proficient in optimizing work processes and identifying improvement opportunities.
- Adept at utilizing new technologies, including AI.
No prior professional experience required, but a proactive approach and willingness to learn are essential.
Currently pursuing a Bac+4 or Bac+5 degree in business or a related field.
Fixed monthly stipend: €1200 for Bac+4 level students, €1400 for Bac+5 level students.
