Galeries Lafayette Logistics Operations Assistant Intern
The Watch and Jewelry Division of the Galeries Lafayette Group stands as the preeminent French leader in the distribution of horology and jewelry through its esteemed brands: Galeries Lafayette, Louis Pion, and Galeries Lafayette-Royal Quartz. This division serves as the purchasing hub for the jewelry and watch sectors across 57 Galeries Lafayette department stores in France and Luxembourg, operating multi-brand watch spaces in 40 of these locations. With 70 branded retail outlets across France and an e-commerce platform, Louis Pion offers an extensive selection of watches and, more recently, jewelry from over 60 brands, ranging from accessible to premium, including its own collections. Galeries Lafayette-Royal Quartz provides exclusive access to over 50 prestigious watch and jewelry brands, both in urban settings and airports, through its network of 12 boutiques and online presence. The division also manages mono-brand boutiques such as Cartier, Rolex, Omega, Messika, Tudor, and Hermès in department stores and airports. The Watch and Jewelry Division aims to captivate the curiosity and passion of watch and jewelry enthusiasts.
- Ensure the proper handling of e-commerce orders by store and warehouse preparers.
- Monitor customer returns, update systems, and coordinate refunds.
- Contribute to the monitoring of intra-group flows (replenishment, after-sales service dispatches) using dashboards and KPI calculations.
- Address and resolve delivery incidents (delays, losses, disputes).
- Communicate with internal teams (customer service, warehouses, stores).
- Analyze carrier performance using dashboards and KPI calculations.
- Assist in managing a service provider for two fiscal inventory campaigns in September and November for fashion and luxury stores.
- Participate in the analysis of discrepancies and corrective actions.
- Contribute to the deployment of new packaging solutions for e-commerce shipments to enhance customer experience and product security while optimizing costs and adhering to new environmental regulations.
- Currently enrolled in a business school or university program, pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree (Bac+4 or Bac+5).
- Seeking a 6-month internship starting in July or September 2025.
- Action-oriented with initiative-taking capabilities.
- Proficient in optimizing work processes and identifying improvement opportunities.
- Adept at utilizing new technologies, including AI, to achieve objectives.
No prior experience required, but a proactive approach and eagerness to learn are essential.
Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree (Bac+4 or Bac+5) in a relevant field.
Fixed stipend aligned with educational level: €1200 gross monthly for Bac+4, €1400 gross monthly for Bac+5.
